The University
Counselling Service is a unit of the Health Centre. The
staff provide counselling services on a variety of issues,
inluding areas such as
- self esteem
- academic performance
- depression
- abuse/trauma
- anxiety/stress
- adjustment to University
- marital issues, etc.
Individual as well as group counselling services are
offered by the Unit. Outreach and educational programmes
are also offered. These address such topics as study
skills, intimate relationships, stress management, time
management and self esteem.
