The pharmacy is staffed by three Registered Pharmacists and stocks a wide range of prescription and over-the-counter drugs. It recognizes its integral role in the delivery of low-cost, high-quality health care to the community and offers distinct advantages over competing pharmacies.

Here are just some of the sensible reasons you should obtain your prescription drugs at the UWI Health Centre Pharmacy:

1. Prices are much lower than the competition because we apply a very minimal mark-up.

2. UWI employees have access to credit above the $4,000 applicable at other participating pharmacies. To utilize this facility UWI employees just present their staff ID card and sign a salary deduction form for the amount to be deducted from their salary on their payday.

3. Availability of drugs that are prescribed by most doctors and for all common ailments.

4. Convenient opening hours:
• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 7:30 pm
• Saturday, 9 am – 12:30 pm

5. The convenience factor: When pressed for time you may leave your prescription and pick it up later at a time convenient to you.

6. The staff is very experienced and knowledgeable and serves you with care and professionalism.

7. All major health insurance cards, debit and credit cards are accepted. Health insurance cards include LOJ/First Life, Blue Cross, JADEP and NHF
