Objective
The DOMS Business Advantage is a new programme designed by the Department of Management Studies to increase students' employability. The programme will provide participants with a suite of necessary enabling life skills that employers value. It is designed to help provide a smoother transition from the classroom to the workplace.

On completion of the DOMS Business Advantage, participants will have acquired skills which lend themselves to the development of personal growth and self confidence. |
Who Should Attend
The programme is open to all final year students Master's students and other interested persons.
Programme Structure
The programme will be delivered in modules over two weeks, Mondays to Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a field trip component on Fridays.

- Time Management
- Management of Personal Finances
- Work/ Life Balance
Module 4: Essential Soft Skills
- Meeting and Event Management
- Essentials of Protocol
- Etiquette and Business Functions
- Public Speaking
- Cross Cultural Business Relationships
Participants will be enrolled in all four modules.
Cost
An application fee of J$1,000.00 is payable for this programme. Fees may be
paid by cheque directly to the Department of Management Studies, U.W.I., Mona or lodged to N.C.B. Account # 402609729 at any N.C.B. branch.
Certification
All participants will receive a Certificate of Accomplishment/ Merit.
